We are able to offer our customers a complete range of fully interactive time chainage based solutions, from an entry level environment using LinearPlus through to a fully bespoke corporate system based on QEI Exec.

For more information on why time chainage charts are useful when working on linear projects, or how time chainage charts display information, please refer to the downloadable documents at the bottom of this page.

This screenshot illustrates how CAD graphics can be combined with a time chainage chart to produce high quality management information. It also demonstrates two of the available activity presentation styles - in this case diagonal lines (used here for tunnelling works) or boxes (used for work at station locations).

The vertical axis of this chart is derived from a database containing details of the track sections of the UK rail network, while the chart itself displays the maintenance work scheduled for the time span selected. Intersecting blocks indicate a potential clash, where two types of work are taking place at the same place and time. The system can highlight these clashes, allowing the user to re-plan well ahead of the date concerned.

Product Options

Time Chainage Charts are a standard feature of LinearPlus, but are also available as an additional module for QEI Exec (requires purchase of Gantt Charts feature). The QEI Exec version provides additional functionality, including charts derived from multiple datum points and the ability to work in other chart formats. You will need to contact us if you wish to evaluate QEI Exec with the Time Chainage module, as the evaluation version does not provide this functionality as standard.
